Increased heartbeat does not mean that you are facing a heart attack in fact there are a hundred different reasons, conditions and situations where your heart rate could increase. Increased heartbeat can be a result of strenuous exercise, too much caffeine or a condition called arrhythmia. It is not something very serious but it could vary from person to person and their medical history.
